Lukey Boy!

Just a quick post to write about our sweet Lukey boy!  Luke loves (is obsessed one could say) with " folding" the laundry! After arriving home from school, he would always ask if  I did the laundry. Then proceed to fold it right away. He does a great job with shorts, socks, and towels. The rest are still a bit wrinkly but at least he goes for it and sorts everything into piles for me! It's the cutest thing. If he is at home while the laundry is drying on the line, he insists I check it every few minutes to see if something new has dried.  He loves getting the weekly grocery ads and telling me how much everything costs. His ability to count, do basic addition and subtraction seems to have improved by tons in the last month or so. He is addicted to playing go fish and crazy eights. He can't quite hold the cars in his hand so usually he uses a box so we can't see his cards but he begs to play everyday.  Big news as hot wheels isn't his number 1, favorite thing an...

Random Squabbles

Feb 26, 2025 As I mentioned previously, I want to write more here to help me remember as I am a person with a terrible memory for stories. I can remember people's birthdays, names or phone numbers easily but stories, not so much, unfortunately! So I'm just going to blot down some things they are doing / up to now days.  Oliver- loves his Koala, carries him around often and sometimes pushes him in the toy stroller. He loves to point out the koalas body parts.  He also loves to imitate Luke going pee, and leans back and touches his diaper  and says he is peeing. Hmm, I wonder if he is.  Sometimes he says he wants to try and pee on the potty but so far we haven't had anything come out on the potty yet. He loves to draw with Luke, but usually he insists on using markers and taking off all the lids of the markers and throwing the on the ground. If you give him just one marker he is very angry about it! He usually colors on paper for a few minutes until he starts coloring ...

Oliver's Second Birthday Letter!

Hi Ollie! In true second child fashion, I'm writing this birthday letter to you, on June 11th, 2025. So like 6 weeks late! Oops!  It's so hard to put into words all of the amazing things you've learned and the little man you are becoming. You had your first visit to America. I think you could feel all of the stress during the trip because you decided you would wake up almost hourly for most days of the trip. Even after you were adjusted from jetlag. Sometimes you would stay up for more than an hour. You did take some amazing naps. Being away from mom at any time wasn't really your cup of tea. You just wanted mama! Mama took both boths home on the plane by herself and you did pretty good at sleeping a decent amount of time.  You took your first steps in America, around 15 months old and got your first two teeth at 13 months. Then a few more a few months later, and just had 4 teeth for the longest time and then all of a sudden they all popped up! You are ju...
