Ollie's first Birthday Letter

Life passes way too quickly and it is just crazy what a different experience a second child in the family is versus the first. Luke had monthly letters written to him by me until age one, and every few months thereafter, telling stories about what he was up to, how he was eating, sleeping, etc. Despite my best efforts, Ollie has gotten a little monthly paragraph in his picture book, and whatever else i have written here on the blog. Luckily we take a lot more videos these days to help us remember these precious moments that fleet away too quickly.  Anyways here is a little letter I've written to Ollie about his first year with us. I feel like I have been too busy to even be emotional about it.  Last night (April 26th) Ollie woke up unusually early for his first milk of the night, I checked the time and sure enough it was 9:34 pm.  He needed an exact birthday hug and snuggle. :)    My Sweet Little Ollie man! Fall and Winter of 2023

Feb 22, 2024 Life is still flying by, way too quickly for me to even process! The days are wild and fun, and the nights are getting better. The boys love for one another is just growing and growing like crazy.  Grammy Beth and Grandpa Scott arrived for their yearly visit a few days ago, a few months earlier than their usual visit because we will be going to the US for the wedding of Uncle Cody and Aunt Alexis in June, so we will have some space between our visits.Hence, my extra time to try and write a little bit.   Let's go back to October where I last left you guys.  It was another rainy October. Another mom and I organized a trunk or treat Halloween event for the kids as Halloween isn't much of a things here yet, (though it is growing). However, the weather was really windy and  heavy rain.
